Group therapy is a viable, cost effective treatment option and is especially effective for children and those with social skills deficits, social anxiety, those struggling with anxiety, depression, and isolation.

Due to Covid-19 groups are being limited to 4-6 participants, will practice social distancing, and attendees will be asked to where a face mask. Jacque has extensive group therapy experience and is pleased to offer a variety of group experiences for children 5 years old and up, through adults.

Social Skills Groups

These groups serve children and young adults ages 5–25 years of age and meet weekly for 60 minutes. Outcomes include increasing social awareness, friendship skills, communication, frustration tolerance, building relationships, vocational social skills, interviewing, telephone skills, Internet safety, managing social demands, navigating peer pressure, bullying, and more. Participants have a brief share time, followed by instruction, concluding with scaffolded play or an age appropriate activity that reinforces the content of the lesson. Each participant will work with the lead therapist to establish individual goals and outcomes.

Art Journaling

Art Journaling is a therapeutic technique that leads patients through a unique problem solving process. Art journaling includes a variety of mediums and techniques designed for people with art experience and even those with none. It's all about the process, not the product.
